Speak to yourselves, psalms and hymns and spiritual songs making melody in your heart unto the Lord.
There is a place that the Holy Spirit wants to take His people, one heart a time.
That place is the Secret Place. He wants to give you songs! In this section I would like to share with you that the Holy Spirit wants to give you songs that have never been sang. Songs, that have never been heard! Songs! That have yet to been birthed from your hearts! Songs! Of Bliss! Songs of adoration! Songs of Love to our Lord Jesus! Hallelujah!
As we look at the scripture above these types of songs are called "Spiritual songs." The word spiritual has the idea of being "Exhales, or fresh breaths from God." It is here in prayer and intercession that the Holy Spirit will expose us to the atmosphere of worship, in heaven. Oh! The ancient choirs of heaven that speak and sings songs of great adoration. It is a place in heaven, where lightnings and thunders fill the atmosphere with Aged Eternal bliss of utterances, that are in constant overflow, in worship. It is these types of exhales, the Holy Spirit desires to expose you to.
However, as we continue to look at this particular scripture we notice the word , "Melody." Here, this word describes what we do on our part, in these times that the Holy Spirit puts songs in our hearts. The word "Melody" means to "Pull out and rub on!" Glory! You might ask yourself, "What do I run on?" Here, we see insight to a mysterious, precious, work of the Holy Spirit. He uses us as His Instruments of worship to rub our "Songs of overflow" directly onto the Person of Jesus. Here, we learn this is the very motive as to why we worship. "We rub our Love Songs onto the Person of Jesus."
Our times of worship become endless in the Secret Place, as we learn that the Holy Spirit loves to sing and give us songs that originate out of practicing His presence in prayer.
Below is an example of a song the Holy Spirit gave to me. It is a song of spontaneous singing, along with Singing in the gift of tongues
